SPP participation in the Christmas and New Year’s meeting at DGLP

On January 12, 2026, a Christmas and New Year’s meeting was held at the headquarters of the General Directorate of State Forests, opened by Adam Wasiak, Director General of State Forests (DGLP). The participants of the special meeting were welcomed with a traditional concert of hunting horn players. A. Wasiak thanked the numerous LP employees gathered there for their commitment to carrying out their responsible tasks, expressed his gratitude for their cooperation with state structures at various levels throughout the country, as well as with institutions in the science and research sector, with economic partners and customers of the State Forests, with social and professional organizations in the field of forestry and woodworking, and with nature conservation organizations.

The event was attended by representatives of the government administration, including Mikołaj Dorożała, Chief Nature Conservator/Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Climate and Environment, and Stanisław Wziątek, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense. In their speeches, they emphasized the enormous role of the forestry sector in building a successful model for the country’s long-term functioning in terms of socio-economic development, mitigating adverse climate change, and the growing importance of forests in the area of the state’s resilience to potential threats induced by increased tensions as a result of the Russian Federation’s ongoing armed aggression in Ukraine. The invitation to participate in the meeting was accepted by, among others, representatives of our Association and member companies affiliated with the SPP. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of mutual goodwill, all those present were invited to a meal, and before returning to their duties and places of residence, they were presented with beautiful calendars bearing the State Forests logo.
