The Papermakers’ Club’s visit to the Polish Security Printing Works
On June 11, 2026, members of the Papermakers’ Club took a tour of the Polish Security Printing Works at the invitation of Director Paweł Rędzikowski. After familiarizing themselves with the rules for entering the plant premises and receiving their passes, the tour participants were led to a conference room, where they were officially welcomed by Mr. Rędzikowski and his deputy, Wioletta Sieczka. After a brief overview of the plant’s history, Mr. Rędzikowski took the Club members on a tour of the facility. Among other things, they were able to see the pulp preparation department, the paper machine, and the methods used to protect the paper during production. The participants had many questions for the director, who did his best to answer them. A very interesting part of the tour was the visit to the markin roll preparation department. This is a unique department where screens are made by hand. The participants had the opportunity to see the immense amount of work involved in their production. After the tour, a group photo was taken. After leaving PWPW, the club members headed to the Pod Samsonem restaurant for a well-deserved meal. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end quickly, and after the meal, everyone set off on the return trip to Łódź.
In addition to the members of the Papermakers’ Club, the following people took part in the trip: I. Szymańska, R. Kadyrow, and J. Żubrzak.
