At the Museum of Papermaking: Stories of the Treasures of the Kłodzko Region Hidden in the Archives of the Kłodzko Jesuits
The Museum of Papermaking invites you to a presentation on rare archival materials related to the history of the Kłodzko region, which will take place on March 20 at 5:00 p.m. at the Museum.
During the lecture, Henryka Szczepanowska, Mieczysław Kowalcze, and Szymon Wołoch will discuss the treasures hidden in the archives of the Jesuits in Kłodzko. The documents collected there contain valuable records of the region’s history, its inhabitants, and the institutions that have helped shape the history of the Kłodzko region over the centuries.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore lesser-known historical sources and stories that have long remained hidden in archival collections. The speakers will discuss both the nature of the archive itself and selected, particularly interesting materials that shed new light on the region’s past.
We invite everyone interested in the history of the Kłodzko region, archival materials, and the exploration of local heritage.
