Congress CCUS

Congress, organized by Biomasa Media Group Sp. z o.o., took place at the Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Hotel in Katowice. The event served as a platform for meetings between entrepreneurs, government officials, and research institutions whose goal is to implement CO2 capture and storage technologies. During the congress, attendees had the opportunity to hear expert presentations on business solutions in the field of CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage).

On the first day of the conference, which took place in Katowice, representatives from the Ministry of Climate and Environment gave presentations. Representatives from research and development institutions, industrial plants, industry associations, and the ministry participated in panel discussions on the implementation of CCUS in Poland and the strategy for developing a CO2 capture and utilization system.

The second day was devoted to a tour of the Institute of Fuel and Energy Technology in Zabrze. After learning about the research conducted by the Institute, two lecture-and-workshop sessions were held on the financing of CCUS projects.
