11th National Furniture Congress
On September 9, 2026, the 11th National Furniture Congress, organized by the National Chamber of Furniture Manufacturers as part of the DREMA trade fair, took place in Poznań. The event focused on issues such as the state of the industry, the availability and cost of raw materials for production, the situation on the domestic, European, and global markets, as well as the competitiveness of the Polish wood and furniture industry. The panel discussions were attended primarily by representatives of the furniture industry, but there were also representatives from the paper industry:
- J. Majewski of MM Group participated in the panel discussion “Poland’s Raw Material Security: Will There Be Enough Wood for the Domestic Industry?”
- T. Katewicz, President of SPP and Mondi, took part in the panel discussion “Why Does the Wood and Furniture Sector Need Strategic Decisions Today?” and also presented the key demands of the Polish wood and furniture industry.
Representatives from the SPP office—K. Godlewska and M. Jastrzębski—also attended the event.
