SPP Hosted the CEPI Board Meeting

On May 20, 2026, a meeting (“spring meeting” – hybrid) was held in Warsaw with the participation of members of the Cepi Board of Directors, as well as an ad-hoc consultative meeting of a smaller group comprising the Confederation’s Steering Committee. The policy debate was chaired by Henrik Sjölund (Cepi Chairman/President & CEO of Holmen Group/Chairman of the Swedish Forest Industries Federation). Among the meeting participants representing national paper industry organizations in Europe was Tomasz Katewicz (President of SPP/Chairman of the Board of Mondi Świecie). Taking advantage of the special “host” status of the event, with Cepi’s consent, the debate was observed by J. Turski (SPP Director General).

Before proceeding with the formal agenda of the Board meeting, in accordance with the custom established at Cepi, Tomasz Katewicz—President of the SPP—presented the activities of our Association on behalf of the organization hosting this year’s participants.
