Piggy bank for the 32nd finale of WOŚP
The 32nd edition of the finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP) will take place on January 28, 2024. The goal of this year’s collection declared by WOŚP Foundation is “Lungs after the pandemic.” The funds collected will be used to purchase equipment for diagnosis in pulmonology wards for children and adults. Traditionally, the charity event filled with noble emotions will be accompanied by stage performances by popular stars of song, film, theater, stars of other categories of art, representatives of popular sports disciplines, as well as many well-known figures with sacrificial involvement in organizing campaigns to help people in need. As before, the responsible and honorable task will be carried out by volunteers themselves, who will collect voluntary contributions into picturesque piggy banks, offering red hearts to generous donors in return.
Less than two months before this year’s finale of the charitable WOŚP concert across Poland, an official presentation of the piggy banks, which will be used to collect donations, was made in Lodz. Thanks to the cooperation of WOŚP organizing headquarters with the management of Stora Enso Poland S.A. at Stora Enso’s packaging plant in Mosina, and 226,000 solid and colorful cardboard cans were produced. Including volumes from previous editions, this represents a total of about 3,600,000 piggy banks. They will be seen in the public space of thousands of towns and cities in Poland, as well as in hundreds of locations on different continents of the planet.
